Workforce Management Specialist

The Workforce Insight Applications Specialist works closely with our clients to develop and implement off-the shelf and/or customized workforce management solutions. With their Workforce Insight teammates and our clients, Workforce Management Specialists develop a strategic roadmap to ensure that the maximum value of our clients' workforce management investment is achieved.

This position operates in complex technology environments at large organizations and is responsible for the successful design, modification, development and implementation of software applications. The Workforce Management Specialist will communicate directly with our clients and the Workforce Insight project team. Utilizing our defined implementation methodology, you will ensure the project meets the established milestones, and that targeted completion dates are achieved. 

You will provide technical guidance to organizations in the process of implementing a Workforce Management strategy. You will ensure that the solutions conform to industry standards as well as to Workforce Insight’s internal guidelines.

Additionally, the Workforce Management Specialist will have advanced technical skills to perform systems integration between other complex technologies. You will also be expected to perform a variety of tasks that may range beyond implementation such as troubleshooting and technical consulting roles.

The position requires in-depth experience with Workforce Management solutions, such as Kronos, Oracle, Workbrain, Workforce Software, SAP, PeopleSoft, Timera, Datamatics, Blue Cube, Aspect, Blue Pumpkin, etc. Additional experience with HR, Payroll, Scheduling, and Analytic/Business Intelligence solutions is preferred.

Required Skills & Background:

  • Minimum of 5 years in enterprise, web-based, software development and implementation, specifically in the Workforce Management or Human Capital Management space.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Solid business understanding to allow you to communicate to both client executives as well as IT project members.
  • Experience working in complex business environments and on high-pressure, fast-paced projects in a collaborative team setting.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of project implementation methodology(s).

   
Technical Expertise and skills such as:

    • SQL and Relational Databases such as Oracle, DB2, AS400 and SQL Server
    • J2EE Java development
    • UNIX/Linux and XP
    • WebSphere, Weblogic, J2EE web application development, Java, Database development and design Java code development
    • Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and/or Oracle Portal
    • College/University degree.
    • Willingness to travel up to 50-75%
    • Independent Contractors and Full-Time Employees will be considered for this position.
